Job duties of Hotel Maintenance: 

• Assist with operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment
• Maintain physical structure and grounds of the hotel property
• Participate in preventative maintenance program
• Handle guest requests and work orders
• Perform trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, etc.
• Ensure safe and efficient work
• Develop excellent service skills in dealing with clients, guests, and co-workers
• Clean, test pool, and spa chemicals routinely and maintain logs 

Job Requirements for the Hotel Maintenance position:

• High School diploma or equivalent (copy needed)
• Obtain and maintain required licenses or certificates
• Knowledge of machines, tools, and equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Effective communication with guests and staff
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Long hours may be required
• Heavy lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently or constantly
• Ability to stand during entire shift
• Reach overhead, utilize both hands, bend over, stoop, and kneel
• Operate maintenance equipment, including indoor pool system
• Capable of climbing and descending stairs during shift
