*This is a Direct-Hire position*
Key duties and details for Supply Chain Manager:

• Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price
• Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered and resolves shipments in error with suppliers
• Bring cost savings opportunities, new suppliers and new raw materials
• Develop, implement and maintain a supplier performance rating system to evaluation the accuracy and reliability of each supplier
• Daytime schedule

Qualifications for Supply Chain Manager:

• Minimum 3 years of industrial / plastics purchasing experience Working knowledge in project scheduling, purchasing, shipping Incoterms and processes
• Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
• Ability to respond with a sense of urgency in a leader-like fashion in high pressure situations
• Must be resourceful, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Competent working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), SAP and other related software utilizing a Windows platform
