Key duties and details for QC Inspector:

• Assiss and report on the quality of all vegetables received, in inventory and shipped from the facility
• Ensure that all products shipped meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate total compliance to corporate quality standards and SOP's
• Conduct regular assessments of warehouse inventory and quality repacks
• Paid weekly

 Qualifications for QC Inspector:

• Post-Secondary Education preferred
• WHMIS
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health & Safety and Food Safety programs
• Ability to communicate, both oral and written
• Strong organizational skills
• Thorough understanding of Fresh Fruit & Vegetable regulations, plus Consumer Packaging & Labeling requirements and standards in Canada and the USA
• Knowledge and experience with the quality characteristics of greenhouse vegetables
